Bangalore Royal Challengers Out of Semifinal spot

The defeat against Delhi Daredevils in todays match has put Bangalore Royal Challengers out of the contention for a Semi Final spot. But the Royal Challengers(RC) had some positives to take back home. The excellent debut innings by young Shreevats Goswami was chiefly responsible for the RC’s score which was boosted by Misbah’s late onslaught. Getting Misbah to see in action is a good news out for RC’s fans out there. His score of 47 in just 25 balls was studded with 2 hits to the fence and 4 over it. Goswami played superb innings of 52 in 42 deliveries with 7 hits to the fence for which he received Man of the Match award. Looks like RC have at last found their wicket keeper batsmen, but he has to be consistent in the matches he plays.

Even RC’s bowlers did well to bounce back in to the game but the initial onslaught by Shewag and Gambhir took the match away from RC’s. Its good to see Kumble back in action. Fast bowlers disappointed with Zaheer Khan and Kallis going wicket less.
